Dental Papers for my mission, Done!

The excitment of getting your wisdom teeth is not that great but when you have in mind why you are getting them taken out it's a lot better. It was Wednesday morning and I went in. My big smile on and a thumbs up! I had gotten out and didn't even remember the nurse taking my after picture or the car ride home! I was out!
I had a good two days to recover. By Saturday afternoon I was still puffy but went to work. Sunday I attended church, still eatting soft foods I didn't fully know what I looked like until I saw Jessica at church and needed to have a picture with her. She just got back from BYU for the summer.
(this is not my normal smile)

A time to Learn

As General Confernce came I was so happy for all that was said. I had so many notes written down and loved hearing form our Prophet! Blessed am I to be loved by my family and most of all my Heavenly Father.

A Birthday Party that lasted All day long!

Anna-Maire and I wanted to do something special for Carrie's 27th Birthday, so Carrie cam home for the weekend! We went to the movies to see The Hunger Games! Then we enjoyed ourselfs at Don Pablos for dinner.
I thought it was funny, I told Carrie I had to use the Restroom but really just told our watier all about it being Carries Birthday and he brought out this plus sang a song too! We then went to a ballet at the Valentine Theater. It was really nice.

Family Time

I felt like a little girl that's in kinagarten today. She asks her teacher where the markers and paper is, looks and finds it but then proceeds to ask the teacher if she could get the supplies for her because she is too short to reach them!
I don't know why but I just felt like making a picutre of my family. I hope you like it! My mom told me it looked very nice and we even put it on our door!

A reason to be Happy!

The joy of doing childcare for parents that are both teachers is so awesome! I know I start at 7:45am and end around 4:30ish. But the best part is SNOW DELAYS! Even though I went to their home this morning and realized that  school was cancelled the day worked out perfect! I was able to finish my Valentine's for my friends at work this evening!!! Thanks to BHG for the cute idea!
Then to top it off my awesome day, I walked out to my car to go to work and this is what I found! I just love my mom! She always finds a way to put a smile on my face!

Transfers...

There are some missionaries that are great and there are some that are so super great that you consider them your friend, even your sister! That's how Sister Hatch is to me! But I guess like Andrew said, 'Since you will be a missionary you should probably get use to transfers.' Sad day. But on the bright side, there is always the US Postal Service! I love writing cute little notes in the mail!
When Sister Hatch was new in the area.
Sister Hatch's last Sunday with the YSA Branch.

Temple Trip again!

The day was windy but inside the Temple was amazing. This Temple trip I was thinking about my mission some more. I reflected on all the little tender mercies that Heavenly Father has given me as I’ve been preparing that this time at the temple the feeling was different but still the same sweet, calm, peaceful feeling. I guess I’m just so blessed right now I don’t know how to feel or explain it.
After our amazing car ride home with Mark and Rachel, Anna-Marie and I did a little shopping and then went to Brother and Sister Yost's home for a YSA movie night! We had Hawaiian Haystacks to go along with the theme of the movie, Leo and Stitch. And of course I just had to hold little Abigail! What a cutie! We had such a grad time with lots of funny commentary from Nick! Haha. You had to be there for you to laugh… sorry!

Friends and Yummy Treats!

Valentine's Day is something great but for those that don't have a significant other... it's sad. So Anna-Marie and I wanted to do something for our YSA friends. Andrew was such a trooper with helping make the brownies and such! They were so good!

Skip the main meal and just have dessert!

After church on Sunday we had a potluck. The food was just amazing, but this was the tops for me! I could not help myself from taking it in! It's like dirt pudding but better! What can I say, Anna-Maire is the best!

It's like sledding... but better!

Every year our YSA Branch goes Tobogganing and there was no way I was going to miss it just becasue I was sick... I may have a smile on my face but my stomach sure did not. So I only went down once! But don't worry I was able to keep all my food down!
Face it. We had so much fun that you're jealous!!! Haha.

In my area, our YSA Branch is so blessed to have two sets of Sister Missionaries! So I've made it my goal to go out with  each set every month! And I'm happy to say that I've accomplished that!!! I love being with the sisters and to feel of their sweet spirit and hear their testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ! I hope when I serve my mission I can be as loving, inspirational, and serviceable as each of them!

A day on the Ice

Before my siblings, brother-in-law and I took our day trip to go Ice Skating (it's a sibs only sorry mom and dad!) we made a few cupcakes for one of the missionaries serving in our area. It's his Birthday today and my mom wanted to make sure he got something! After skating and having a few slips on the ice we enjoyed a nice cup of hot chocolate!

Joy to the World

.MERRY CHRISTMAS.
On the day that is most thought of out of the year it would be the one were people get the most presents. But for me and my family we get the least, because we give our time, love and bright smiles to those that need it more than we do. We serve at the American Legion in town every Chrsitmas Day for as long as I can remember! It was wonderful having James and Diana home. It was their first Christmas together! But Joe and Carrie went to Idaho for the holiday with his famliy. It was different but the love of our family and Christ was felt all over our home!

A special day to be HOME

Just yesterday, December 16th, marked Andrew's one year from being home from his mission in the Netherlands! I still remember that night at the Airport filled with tears of joy! But this year we filled the night with fun excitement! We spent it with my YSA friends! We started the night with Ice Skating and then a look at the Lights at the Zoo! We had such a fun that we had smiles on our rose colored faces!!! Too bad there wasn't any snow...!

Out for the Night

As so many people know I don't go out on dates very often nor do I even go out with friends because of my work schedual and with classes. Well this weekend was a bit different... not only did some of my friends and I go out to eat but we did someting too!!! We had a great time at the Mongolian Grill and then enjoyed ourselves to a couple rounds of bowling! We were in a scary area and new we had to leave after the round. So we went across town to a Starbucks and had a nice hot chocolate!

I'm thankful for OHIO.

Thanksgiving morning and I was up and ready to watch Carrie run yet another 5K. I think one of these days I'll run a race with Carrie.... but for now, I'm good with just watching/ cheering her on to the finish line!!!
I don't know what to say... I enjoy Thanksgiving and all the many things that I have and know. I'm so very blessed with my wonderful family. What more can I say?!!?!
